Back in March 2017 I green-turned a large number of Persimmon bowl blanks. They were coated with AnchorSeal and set aside to dry with weights recorded from first turning to allow me to gauge the degree of dryness, i.e. once weight loss stopped the drying process would be complete. In the meantime, I moved and didn’t have a shop set up for almost a year. I have returned to the shop and finishing these green-turned bowls in my first priority.

This is a relatively large diameter, 8.5 inches, bowl that is 2.5 inches tall. Originally it was closer to 4 inches tall but a small disaster occurred that required the shaving off of some of the height.
