I recently made use of a set of four small squares of Black Walnut that had been cut from dimensional lumber. These walnut squares were 4.5 inches by 1 inch, so quite small. I’d originally considered cutting them into pen blanks, but I have some many pen blanks, and I don’t make a lot of pens these days, so instead I decided to just make small dishes from them which I thought would be more fun.<\/p>\n
