Seven Cherry Bowls<\/p><\/div>\n

The three medium sized bowls are 7.5″ x 3″ and could easily be from the same tree since they are so similar in appearance.<\/p>\n

The two largest bowls, from left to right, measure 9.5″ x 3″ and 9″ x 4″.<\/p>\n

All seven of these bowls turned and finished easily and I am pleased with result.<\/p>\n

These bowls represent the end of the last batch of blanks that I had joined and planed so now we will move on to entirely new woods, exotics this time I think, as I continue to work through my extensive stock of bowl blanks.<\/p>\n

All cuts were made using the Easy Wood Tool<\/a> system on my Robust American Beauty<\/a> lathe. Forward chucking was in a Nova Chuck,<\/a> while reverse chucking was done using a Nova Chuck with Cole Jaws<\/a>. Sanding was with Gold and Green Wave sanding discs from Packard Woodworks<\/a>. Final finish is Cherry Watco Danish Oil.<\/a><\/p>\n
