Long ago I ordered a set of seven rather small Black Walnut bowl blanks from a vendor in Missouri. At the time, I intended to make them into lidded boxes and that was the purpose for which they were sold. However, I never really learned how to make lidded boxes, although I do intend someday to learn how to do that, so instead I made them into small bowls.
I have written about Black Walnut extensively elsewhere so I won’t go into all those details again here.
My intent in this post is to share the photos for you to enjoy and I hope you do.
Whatever your wood working interests I hope you meet with success and to those who enjoy using the lathe as much as I do, well, do a good turn today!
